The GRF-1 Antibody is a highly specific research-grade antibody designed to detect Guanine Nucleotide-Releasing Factor 1 (GRF-1), also known as Ras-GRF1 or CDC25Mm. GRF-1 is a calcium- and calmodulin-regulated Ras-specific guanine nucleotide exchange factor (GEF) predominantly expressed in neuronal tissues. It plays a critical role in linking calcium signaling to Ras/MAPK and Rac pathways, thereby modulating synaptic plasticity, long-term potentiation (LTP), learning, and memory.

This antibody is generated against a recombinant protein fragment or synthetic peptide corresponding to a unique epitope within the GRF-1 protein sequence, ensuring high specificity with no cross-reactivity to related GEF family members such as GRF-2 or SOS1/2. It is affinity-purified and validated for use in Western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunohistochemistry (IHC), and immunocytochemistry (ICC). The antibody enables detection of both endogenous and overexpressed GRF-1 in various biological matrices including brain lysates and transfected cells.
